Some television programs are educational, informative and inspiring, and are often more effective than books in bringing children a wide scope of knowledge. Common questions, such as how a tree grows, why it snows in the winter and what the Great Wall is, can be answered in television shows. What children learn from television can be a vital complement to their school learning.
