State whether you agree or disagree with the following statement. Then explain your reasons using specific details in your explanation. Students should not be allowed to bring cell phones or mobile phones into the classroom.
TPO17口语Task2参考答案(范文模板)：
I agree that students should not be allowed to bring cell phones into the classroom because first of all, they are very distracting to a learning environment. Many times, I’ve been in class and someone will have their cell phone ringing in their book-bag because they forgot to put it on silent, or, they have it on silent but it vibrates so loudly that you can still hear it.
Second of all, it’s really easy to become distracted by other things on your phone. When I was a teacher in high school, I always saw so many students not paying attention to the lecture and just playing games on their cell phone instead. Then they would act surprised when they didn’t get a good grade. As if they didn’t know why!
That’s why I agree that students should not be allowed to bring cell phones into the classroom.
